How to use Juliana Nails Light Changing Glitter 

The glitter is super easy to use: simply apply it over the first layer of top coat while it is still wet. Then cure it under a UV or LED lamp. It is suitable for natural nails as well as all types of artificial nails. 

Depending on your nails and the desired result, you can choose between various methods of applying loose glitter: 

1. Sprinkle loose glitter on top of gel nail polish

• Follow the basic steps of a manicure with gel nail polish.
• Apply a thin layer of top coat.
• Sprinkle the glitter over the first layer of top coat while it is still wet or use a brush to carefully apply the loose glitter. Cure under a LED or UV lamp (curing time varies depending on the product). 
• Gently remove excess glitter particles from your cuticles with a nail brush. 
• Apply a final layer of top coat and cure again under the UV or LED lamp. 
• Wipe you nails with gel cleaner to remove any sticky residue.

2. Dip your nails into the glitter

• Follow the basic steps of a manicure with gel nail polish.
• Apply a thin layer of top coat.
• While the top coat is still wet, dip your nail in the glitter pot. Roll it back and forth a bit to cover the sides of the nails. Tap your finger to remove excess glitter and cure under a LED or UV lamp. 
• If there are any more excess glitter particles on your cuticles, gently remove them with a nail brush. 
• Apply a final layer of top coat and cure again under the UV or LED lamp. 
• Wipe you nails with gel cleaner to remove any sticky residue.

3. Mix loose glitter with acrylic 

• Prepare the nail plate for acrylic nails. 
• Dip the brush into liquid monomer and wipe off excess liquid. 
• Place the wet brush in powder polymer to create a small ball (softer than usual).
• Carefully dip the acrylic bead in the loose glitter. 
• Sculp nails as desired and allow to dry. 
• Finish with top coat and cure under a UV or LED lamp.

4. Mix loose glitter with gel nail polish

• Follow the basic steps of a manicure with gel nail polish.
• Mix loose glitter with gel nail polish or clear top coat.
• Apply with a gel brush and cure under a LED or UV lamp (curing time varies depending on the product).

5. Pre-mix loose glitter with acrylic powder

• Prepare the nail plate for acrylic nails.
• Mix loose glitter with powder polymer.
• Dip the brush into liquid monomer and wipe off excess liquid. 
• Place the wet brush in powder polymer to create a small ball. 
• Sculp nails as desired, allow to dry and file into shape. 
• Finish with top coat and cure under a UV or LED lamp.
