She bought quirky clothes and put on wild makeup. At the last moment, she realized she didn’t know what to do with her hair. On a whim, she decided to use a telephone cord as a hair tie.
The next morning, Sophie woke up to find the telephone cord still in her hair. To her surprise, she had no headache — something she was used to from other hair ties. After removing the cord, she also noticed that it hadn’t left any annoying kinks in her hair.
Sophie Trelles-Tvedem realized her discovery had potential and spent the entire Christmas break working on it. She found a manufacturer of telephone cords online and reached out. He agreed to produce a prototype of the spiral hair tie she envisioned. Sophie invested all her savings into the first large order.
