From Black to Blonde: Which Color Suits Me?
Eyebrow pencils should be one shade lighter than your brow hairs to naturally mimic the shadows between them. The eyebrow color should always match your hair color. As a rule of thumb, eyebrows should be no more than two shades darker than your hair.

How to Use an Eyebrow Pencil: Step-by-Step
Before you start filling in your eyebrows, you should first define the frame using the following method:
- The beginning of the eyebrows is determined by placing the pencil along the side of your nose and measuring straight up toward your brow. With a white eyebrow pencil such as the Stagecolor Liner Stick White, you can draw a small line to mark the inner edge.
- The highest point of the eyebrows can be found by holding the pencil diagonally from the side of the nose, passing along the outer edge of the pupil up to the brow.
- The outer edge is defined by holding the pencil diagonally from the side of the nose, passing the outer corner of the eye. Where the pencil crosses the brow, that’s where your eyebrow should end.
How to Use an Eyebrow Pencil:
- Brush the eyebrow hairs so that they naturally grow in one direction.
- Outline the contours of the eyebrows with the pencil.
- Fill in and define individual hairs using the eyebrow pencil.
- Comb through the brows.
- Optionally, fix the styled eyebrows with an eyebrow gel.
- Use a concealer or highlighter to cover up pimples or red spots around the eyebrows.
