Care Tips and Advice for InterHair Extensions
You can shampoo and care for your hair immediately after the application of the InterHair Extensions. The products you use should not contain oils, silicones, or alcohol, as these ingredients can damage the bonding points.
The InterHair Extensions can be colored right after application by specialists.
Wash your hair carefully, ideally about twice a week. Make sure to put as little strain as possible on the bonding points. That’s why we recommend not washing your hair upside down. The gentlest method is under the shower.
Take care of your InterHair Extensions just as if they were your own hair. Always use a conditioner after shampooing. At least three times a month, apply an intensive moisturizing mask to the lengths and ends.
The InterHair Extensions have a natural wave. If you let your hair air-dry, at least dry the roots with a hairdryer to ensure maximum wear time of the extensions.
To avoid tangling at the roots, never go to bed with wet hair.
Right after visiting the sauna or swimming in salt or chlorinated water, shampoo and condition the InterHair Extensions.
Throughout the entire wearing period, it is normal for 10% of the InterHair Extensions to shed.
Do not wear the InterHair Extensions longer than your stylist recommends. The wearing period is 3–6 months for hair extensions and 2–4 months for hair thickening.
The bondings should be sorted daily with your fingers. Run your fingers between the bonding points and the scalp, then slide them through to the ends of the hair.
Be careful when heat-styling: styling tools must never touch the bondings, as heat can deform or loosen them.
