Generally speaking, the product line up of Blond Absolu consists of two shampoos, a conditioner, a mask and leave-in serum. You can choose your personal hair care program from this Blond Absolu product line-up, which suits your personal preferences and the needs of your hair. To keep blonde hair vibrant and without unwanted yellow tinges is not easy – that’s why an effective, but simple hair care regime is crucial. We have curated four different types of routines that we and our customers have tried and loved.
My review of the Kérastase Blond Absolu products:

Soft neutralisation and light nourishment
This routine is perfect for people with a soft Ombre look or warmer blonde tones – the Bain Lumiere, conditioner and leave-in serum give brilliance to the hair, but won’t weigh it down. I personally love the scent of those products – is fresh, a bit floral and light. Our customers have especially emphasized that the leave-in makes their hair soft, but doesn’t weigh down at all!
Medium neutralisation and light nourishment
If you have a cooler blonde tone but are still afraid of heavier treatments, the combination of the Bain Lumiere, the ultra-violet mask and the leave-in is a good choice. While the mask helps with a more intense neutralisation of unwanted yellow tinges, it is not heavy in the hair. Yellow hair does not stand a chance with this combination!
High neutralisation and intense nourishment
Intensively bleached hair is often also more damaged – this is when you need to reach for the Bain Ultra Violet! This is one of the few violet shampoos that will NOT dry out your hair. I was really blown away by how well this shampoo works and how it makes the hair feel. This shampoo was also the product of the whole line up with the most positive and surprising feedback that we received. If you combine this shampoo with the conditioner and the leave-in from the Blond Absolu line, damaged blonde hair will feel much better. The hair is intensively nourished and repaired and copper tones are banished thanks to the intense purple pigmentation of the shampoo.

Intensive neutralisation and nourishment
If you have white-blonde hair, you know how hard it is to keep the yellow tinge away. Usually, platinum blonde hair is also quite damaged from the intensive and repeated bleaching. In this case, we recommend the combination of the Bain Ultra Violet, the mask and the protective leave-in serum, in order to achieve the needed colour correction and the intensively nourishing treatment. Even parched hair can be easier combed through again and feels soft, with this combination.
My final thoughts on the review of the Kérastase Blond Absolut product series
I’m in love! Not only the overwhelmingly positive feedback of our customers proves how great those products are, but I’ve also tried them myself together with my colleagues. We have tried those products for quite a while on all kinds of different blonde hair types and are super happy with the results. We were used to having quite dry hair after using a violet pigmented shampoo intended to neutralize blonde hair. It always meant we had to use a heavy mask afterwards, in order to make our hair manageable again. This has an end with the shampoo from this line! Finally, a silver shampoo that nourishes the hair.
The possibility to curate your personalized haircare routine for blonde hair with the products of the Blond Absolu line-up makes it easy to keep blonde hair looking like fresh from the salon for longer.
