Alternatively, you can spray each section of hair with setting lotion or leave-in styling spray before using the Curl Formers.  Assemble the hook and insert it into a Curl Former. Slide the hook all the way through.  Divide your hair into sections and pin up the sections you are not working on.  Take a small section of hair and start off by twisting it at the root. If you are working on dry hair, spray the section with setting lotion or styling spray.  Place the hook around the section of hair, close to the root. With one hand, hold the Curl Former and with the other, gently pull the hook holding the hair through the curler.  Repeat this process with every section of hair.  The Curl Formers shape your hair into spiral curls.  Allow hair to air-dry or carefully blow-dry on low heat.  When your hair is completely dry, pinch the ends of the Curl Former to open it up. Hold your hair close to the scalp and gently pull the Curl Former off.
