Wella Illumina Color Opal Essence

Opal Essence by Illumina Color creates a delicate metallic shine with warm and cool reflections. The new shades from Wella have no tone depth; they are pure colours layered over the base hair colour in the respective nuance. Four metallic shades (Titanium Rose, Copper Peach, Silver Mauve and Platinum Lily) enhance the base hair colour with unique reflections and shimmer. The lighter the hair, the more intense the result. The shades gently brighten natural and coloured hair. Depending on the curvature of the hair, the reflections change. This means that the hair colour shimmers differently with each movement and depending on the light, making cold and warm reflections visible in the hair. Opal Essence is best showcased from a tone depth of 6 or higher. Naturally, it can also be mixed with the entire Illumina Color range to create a tone depth. This opens up an even greater variety of colours – creativity knows no bounds with Opal Essence. Since Opal Essence has no tone depth, it is not suitable for grey coverage. When combined with a classic Illumina Color, grey hair is covered. Uneven colour results cannot therefore be corrected.
