L'Oréal Steampod 3.0

The new L’Oréal Steampod 3.0 is a revolutionary advancement of the beloved steam hair straightener. The Steampod 3.0 has delivered 2x smoother and 2x faster styling results in instrumental tests when compared to the Steampod 3.0 without steam and comb (heating plates alone). The professional steam straightener can be used on every hair type – even tightly curled hair can easily be straightened and transformed into silky “glass hair”.

In instrumental tests, the Steampod 3.0 has caused up to 91% less damage after 15 uses, when compared to a Steampod 3.0 without steam and comb (heating plates alone). Even when used with 50°C less heat, compared to a regular straightener (180°C instead of 230°C), the steam straightener delivers straighter, smoother hair. This, in turn, makes the process less damaging on the hair, as less heat is applied.

The new, ergonomic and slimmer design enables easier handling and created new styling possibilities with the Steampod. Even curls and waves are not a limit anymore, as the new design is hardly larger than a regular straightener. No matter whether very curly hair is straightened or straight hair is in need of some movement – all imaginable styles can be created with the steam straightener, just like with a regular straightener.

The water tank has now been included in the handle of the straightener, which makes the use more comfortable and convenient. The integrated water tank is enough for up to 192m of hair, which allows for an interruption-free, comfortable usage. The water tank does not have to be emptied after each use.

The exclusive steam-technology enables the continuous release of steam and therefore consistent results. The integrated comb, the floating heating elements with an anodized surface and the rotating cable make the utilization of the Steampod comfortable and easy.

The new, intelligent heat control takes care of constant temperature control, twice per second. Depending on the hair type and personal preferences, one of the 3 heat settings can be chosen, with a temperature range from 180°C to 210°C.

Application tips for the L’Oréal Steampod 3.0

• Always make sure that the arrows on the device point downwards so that the steam can properly straighten the hair
• Always use distilled water, never regular tap water!
• The Steampod care products are the ideal addition to the steam straightener, as they contain plant keratin which can best penetrate the hair with the aid of steam. The ingredients in those products help to condition and strengthen the hair and make it silky smooth.
