As the gel dries, it creates a curl cast that helps define the curls while minimising colour transfer. Once the cast is scrunched out, bouncy, defined curls and an intense colour effect are revealed. How to apply Curlsmith Hair Makeup Ruby

Protect your clothing with a towel before application and shake the product well. Apply the Hair Makeup to wet, detangled curls after your leave-in conditioner, then divide the hair into sections. Smooth a generous amount over each section and rake it through with your fingers to distribute the colour as evenly as possible. You can then use your preferred styling technique, such as scrunching, finger coiling or shingling, to encourage curl definition. Leave the hair to air-dry or use a diffuser.

Turn up the intensity of your look

Once the hair is completely dry, gently scrunch out the curl cast to leave the curls softer and more flexible. Take care when doing so to minimise pigment fallout. For an even more intense colour effect, scrunch a small additional amount of Hair MakeUp into completely dry hair. This allows you to customise the intensity of Ruby, Copper or Rose-Gold – and when you're ready for a change, the temporary colour can simply be washed out with your next shampoo.
