Each styling product has a number, which signifies the hold level. The higher the number, the stronger the hold. For a styling product with a light hold, the numbers 01-05 are recommended, for a medium hold numbers 06-15 are the right choice and products with the numbers 16-28 provide ultimate hold.

Styling products from Redken can easily be combined with each other – be it by directly mixing it the palm or through layering. By combining different products, hold and control of a product can be lowered or increased, in order to achieve the desired result.
