How does L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Série Expert Metal DX work?

L’Oréal Professionnel Paris has the solution to this problem. The heart of this new product range is Glicoamine, a tiny molecule small enough to penetrate the hair, localise metal residues and neutralize them, even if they form irregular clusters on and inside the hair fibres.
What is Glicoamine?
Glicoamine is a very small molecule that is able to penetrate inside the hair fibre. It is a chelating agent which targets excess metals and neutralises them. The hair’s integrity is preserved and remarkable colour results can be achieved.
How do metals end up in our hair?
The amount of metal in hair varies, depending on where you live and on the structure of your hair. Due to pipeline erosion, copper particles end up in our water and, subsequently, also in our hair when we wash it. This is not a problem for our health and does not mean that the water is unsafe – in fact even clean water contains metal residues. It does, however, pose a risk to our hair. The higher the concentration of metals in the water, the higher the risk of breakage and hair damage.

Maintain salon-perfect results at home with this 2-step programme. Ideally, we recommend using both products in combination.
Step 1: Wash your hair using the Metal DX Shampoo. Massage into wet hair and leave in for 1 to 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
Step 2: Your hair is now ready for the Metal DX Mask. Apply evenly to shampooed and towel-dried hair, leave in for 8 to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
