Wella EOS Application
Wella EOS plant-based hair color is applied in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Pre-treatment
Wash the hair with a deep-cleansing shampoo and, if necessary, apply a protective lotion such as Wella Service Skin Protection Cream along the hairline.
How do I mix Wella EOS?
- Wella EOS is mixed at a ratio of 1:5 with hot water (70°C).
- For example: mix 30 g of EOS with 150 ml of hot water.
- Wait until the plant cream has cooled to a skin-compatible temperature.
Step 2: Apply the color
First application:
- Apply the plant-based hair color from roots to ends with a suitable brush while wearing gloves.
- Processing time: Depending on hair thickness, between 30 and 40 minutes with heat.
Root application:
- Apply the cream only to the roots at first. Processing time is between 20 and 35 minutes (with heat).
- After the initial processing time, apply the freshly prepared color cream to lengths and ends and leave for another 10 to 15 minutes.
TIP: On very faded lengths and ends, apply Wella EOS as with a first application.
Step 3: Post-treatment
After the processing time, emulsify the hair thoroughly with warm water, then rinse carefully until the water runs clear. Afterwards, wash with a mild shampoo such as Wella Elements Calming Shampoo, condition with a hair mask, and style as usual.
Additional tips for using EOS
- Mix fashion tone and natural tone in a ratio of 2:1 to 3:1.
- For a root application, apply this mixture only at the roots; on the lengths, use only the fashion tone.
